She grows traditional crops like wheat and gram alongside high-value crops and horticulture. Drip irrigation and scientific practices help her cut costs and raise yield.
LadyFarmer is the brand she built to add value to her harvest: processing, packaging and selling directly. Fewer middlemen means a better margin for the farm and a fresher product for the customer.
Using government schemes and training programmes, Soniya has brought rural women in her village together and encouraged them to start earning as entrepreneurs.
